Soft Pastel Skies Workshop: Have you been curious about painting with soft pastels but feel intimidated to start? Fear no more!
Join us for a hands-on, beginner friendly workshop exploring the wonderful, meditative world of soft pastels through an accessible subject matter - skies!
This class will begin with a demonstration covering materials, basic techniques and tips for handling soft pastels effectively. There will be a series of guided exercises on color, light and form before creating your own masterpiece.
Space is limited, secure your spot now to start your journey into soft pastels!
Amy Toneys is a Yarmouth-based artist with a background in painting and architecture. A graduate of St. Norbert College and Rhode Island School of Design, she brings her love of structure, light and place to both her custom house portraits and her teaching. She’s excited to share her passion for soft pastels in this hands-on workshop.

3 Week Painting Studio (June/July)- For those that have already completed one of Stephanie’s painting/water soluble art classes, this studio level class will give your the opportunity to refine and finish assignments and projects. This class is considered a studio class, where minimal instruction will be given, but you will have time to focus on specific goals. Stephanie will guide, and give constructive feedback back on any current projects you’ve got going on, while allowing your artistic freedom to flourish. This is your chance to devote more time to your artistic practice, and refine those skills you’ve been taught!

Lupines are magical in so many ways - let’s paint them together! During this one way workshop, you will enter into the magical world of watercolor as you learn the ropes of blending, color mixing, and value building.
This workshop is taught and led by instructor Stephanie Berry. She will have guided handouts, as well as pre-drawn lupines for you to build off of. Whether you are a seasoned artist that wants to paint something magical in your own style, or if you have no experience at all, this workshop is for you! We welcome all levels, and we all share the same goal of: “art can be a meditative practice”. Come paint some lupines with us!

Painting Field Trip Series: Town Landing Boat Launch- Come join us as we get out of the house (and the studio!) to paint in nature! This class is designed for artists that are comfortable with water soluble materials. We will have a few different “field trips” set up, so we can’t wait to get started!
Join us at Town Landing Boat Launch in Yarmouth, from 10:30am-12:30pm on June 16th! We will set up on some picnic tables, or throw a blanket on the ground (if you feel able enough to do so), and take in the surroundings to inspire our artworks. Whether you are painting a boat or the landscape, join us as we let nature to inspire us.

Adult Art Camp Series: Watercolor Pouring Method: Adults can go to art camp too! Have fun with this one day watercolor workshop as we dive into the world of “the pouring method”. This method allows artists to pour liquid watercolor layer by layer, and let loose a little. With this technique, artists will choose their subject matter and receive 3 liquid watercolors to “pour” onto their papers to create stunning artworks. This workshop is great for those that want to try something completely different, as this does not use a paintbrush in a standard painting format. Watching paint dry has literally never been more fun! Come try this awesome practice of watercolor pouring!

This class is designed for artists that are comfortable with water soluble materials. We will have a few different “field trips” set up, so we can’t wait to get started!
Join us at The Gardens At Pineland Farms from 10:30am-12:30pm on June 9th! We will set up on some benches, but please be advised picnic tables are limited/not as readily available. If you’d like to bring a chair, that would be great!
Whether you are painting a landscape, or even a flower from the field, join us as we let nature to inspire us.

Adults can play too! Art allows us to open our mind, and find a new way of capturing little moments. This class is designed for those that want to try something a little different and use a range of 2D materials. We will explore color harmonies, layering with texture, and getting into the “flow state” within our own artistic practice. Process > Product. Materials we will explore will be: liquid inks, water soluble pastels, colored pencils and more.

Come out this Mother’s Day to this 2-in-1 workshop! You will get to create and take home your own mini floral bouquet, as well as learn how to watercolor some fun and bright florals! Instructor Stephanie Berry will show you just how fun and easy it is to be creative in this 3 hour workshop.
We will begin class by creating and arranging a mini floral bouquet, wrapped in craft paper. These same florals will be our direct inspiration to learn how to watercolor our own artworks. Stephanie has taught watercolor for nearly 13 years, and will bring out artistry in even the most beginner of painters. Bring your mom, bring yourself, or even a friend to this fun and laid back art workshop.

Studio Gouache- This is for artists that are looking to continue their artistic practice with the illustrative techniques of Gouache painting. Students should have prior experience with gouache as we will be using studio time to build off of previous techniques. Students will be taught various skills and lessons throughout the weeks to further and build upon their gouache mastery. This specific class is designed for artists to bring most materials.

Drawing for Beginners- Join Danielle to unlock your creativity with this beginner-friendly drawing course. This is designed for adults who have not yet taken a drawing course with Danielle, and want to want to explore the in a supportive and relaxed environment. In this class, you’ll learn fundamental skills such as mastering line quality, drawing basic shapes, working with perspective, understanding negative space, and creating value through shading.
Each 2-hour weekly class will feature an introduction to concepts covered and hands-on exercises that build on the concepts. Students will leave each class with a suggested “homework” assignment that will help them build confidence in their new skills.
Once you’ve taken Drawing for Beginners, you get to move onto “Drawing for Beginners 2.0”, where you can delve deeper into perspective, composition, and still-life drawing.

6 Week Beginner Drawing Class 2.0- For those that have already completed Danielle’s “Beginner Drawing Class”, this class is for you! In this course, you will continue to learn the foundational skills necessary for drawing to elevate your artistic practice. “Beginner Drawing 2.0” is the middle ground between beginner and intermediate drawing, and is a great way to sharpen your skills.

Please join Rianna for this one day workshop! You will learn how to use India ink and a dip pen on clay board to create stunning bird illustrations. During this three-hour workshop, we will implement both additive and reductive techniques, using shading to build light and dark contrast into your piece. Illustrating with ink can feel daunting, but Rianna will show you how truly flexible and fun it can be.
Novices are always welcome to join this illustrative workshop, but of course if you have prior drawing experience that will only be a bonus. Regardless, by taking part in this class you will gain confidence in this versatile medium and be able to carry it forward in your artistic practice.

“Keeping an Art Journal - course is designed to kickstart your creativity this Spring! Instructor Stephanie Berry will focus mainly on painting and drawing skills, and how to best incorporate them together. Turning doodles into works of art, creating a cohesive composition, and mixing and blending watercolors will just be some of the themes taught in this class. Get out of the house this spring, and restart your art journey, and be inspired to fill your new art journal with new creations.

Beginner/Intermediate Acrylic Painting Class (Mon PM)- Have you ever wanted to try painting with acrylics but didn't know where to start? Join Jen for a relaxed and fun class where you will explore basic acrylic painting techniques in a small supportive setting.
Fundamentals such as color mixing and theories, paint and imagery layering and composition will be discussed and practiced. We paint and interpret from still life setups, our own printed photos and imagination. Class will begin with a short lesson/demo warm up that you'll try on paper, then we'll start a painting of your choice on canvas.
This class is best suited for Beginner and Mid level artists. Jen has a keen sense of what her students need for guidance so she can effortlessly support students at both levels simultaneously.
If you are a more advanced artist, Jen welcomes you to join this class for the space and place. You'll enjoy friendly, constructive critique and camaraderie. A material list will be emailed before the start of class. Basic materials will need to be purchased OR for an additional fee of $50, all materials can be provided by the instructor.

Water Soluble(ish) Materials Studio-6 Weeks- This 3 hour course is designed for artists wanting to shake up their creative practice and explore new materials. Each week we will explore new water soluble materials and how to apply them to our artworks - including neopastels, watercolors, gouache, inks etc.
Students should bring watercolors and gouache. Delany Arts will supply inks, and Neopastels included into your class fee if you don’t already have your own.
